NEW | Why Colleen Landry (60) is Having the Last Laugh After Retirement
The Movement Living Podcast

1h 3m
At 60, Colleen Landry is proof that life after retirement can be anything you want. Colleen is a retired teacher, mom of two grown sons, author, and now comedian. In lieu of a pickleball paddle she purchased a ring light, and now uploads comedy videos to half a million followers on TikTok and Instagram (@colleenlandrycomedy). She’s built what she’s calling a “vibrant community of mildly annoyed women” that love to laugh along to her skits on everything from mammograms and menopause, to husbands who can’t load the dishwasher. We spoke to Colleen about how she made the leap from English teacher to social media star, why women are connecting to her comedy, what her family of “inferior designers” thinks of her new career, her non-negotiables for keeping healthy, overcoming being a people pleaser, ignoring the anti-aging messaging, and what gets better at 60!
