Mairlyn Smith is a Canadian actress, comedian, food blogger, television show host, and professional home economist. At 71, she is now enjoying a new chapter as a popular social media creator and is putting the humor into healthy! The self-proclaimed "Queen of Fiber" and the Fartwalk™ has been featured in People Magazine, New York Post, and The Today Show. We spoke to Mairlyn about why she shared that she was in her 70s on national TV, why fiber is the missing link to your best health (and how to incorporate it into your diet), and how she introduced over 14 million people to “fart walks.” She also shares her mission to help women age wonderfully, her thoughts on anxiety and diet culture, and why laughter will always be her favorite medicine!
