Your Turn is a new series featuring community members taking a turn at a new form of movement. These classes are a follow-along format and are designed to be beginner friendly. If you've ever wanted to try HIIT, kickboxing, or dance but are unsure where to start or if this type of movement is for you, this is your turn!
In this episode, world champion kickboxer Farinaz Lari leads producer and grandmother Gabriela through her first kickboxing class. This class is about exploring how kickboxing can be fun and confidence building. You don't need to be a fighter to try it — this workout is for everyone. Farinaz will guide you on proper form, help you remove your mental barriers to learning a new discipline, and teach you modifications for knee pain or mobility issues.
