At 54, Tina Tang is a certified personal trainer who helps women 40+ add strength training into their lives (forever)! Tina took up fitness in her 40s after some unplanned life changes, including a difficult divorce. Fast forward to the present day, and her proudest achievements include coaching her female clients to their first pull-ups and competing in their first powerlifting competitions. Tina has been featured in Women’s Health, GQ, Self Magazine, and The New York Post. She joined us to talk about why incorporating jump training has been her key to improving her health, how to develop your pelvic floor strength safely so you don’t pee when you jump, the secret to improving her DEXA scan score, why we all need to train for what happens after we trip, how you can start strength training from scratch at any age, and how to find ways to keep motivated to say fit and healthy!
