In the Introduction to Rise, Kate will prepare you to combine powerful standing poses with calming breath and deep stretches, using a single weight to add strength and depth to each movement. This video will prepare you for the coming class and guide you through any challenging sequences or new techniques. The Rise sequence will create space and flexibility across the entire body, focussing on the hips, hamstrings, and calves, while intentionally engaging your core. Suggested equipment: a single dumbbell.
