Leo will take you through 35 seconds of upper body work and 10 seconds of rest, featuring various moves from multiple sports including swimming, boxing, hand cycling, and kayaking. This workout will build your cardiovascular endurance, strength, and sense of vitality. Leo teaches this class to adaptive students of all abilities, it’s designed to challenge you at whatever level you are at. As Leo says, you’re the one doing the work, he is just here to show you what you can do.
This class can be done from your chair or any seated position. Leo uses a crutch, a resistance band, a single dumbbell, and wrists weights as props during the class, but the exercises can also be done without any equipment.
