To throw out a Lead Front Kick, come up onto the ball of your rear leg in your kickboxing stance. Bring your lead leg knee up into your chest before pumping your lead leg straight out in front of you. Keep your toes straight up, striking out with the ball of your foot rather than your toes. Use your hips to thrust up and out with power. A Front Kick can be aimed at your opponent's face or stomach to push them as far away as possible. Switch stance for your Rear Front Kick. Your rear leg will create space with more force. Once your stance is inverted, come up onto the ball of your new rear foot, and kick out with the same technique as a Lead Front Kick. After each kick, return immediately to your kickboxing stance and keep your balance to avoid falling forward.
